How to add an A record

To add a new A record, log in to your NOVA Client Area, and click on the cPanel icon next to your service under the Your Active Services section:

Once you’re in the cPanel control panel, click on the Zone Editor under the Domains section:

Next, click the Manage button for the domain you’d like to configure.

Now, click the Add Record button on the right side of the page:

Fill in the following fields:

Name – full domain or subdomain (including a period at the end)

TTL – leave as is

Type – select A

Record – input or paste the IP address

Here’s our example:

Once completed, click the Add Record button to save. 

Using built-in filters, we can filter our A records:

to verify that our new record has been added to the DNS zone.

Please note that it can take up to 24 hours for the DNS changes to propagate globally, in simpler terms, it can take up to 24 hours for you to see these changes on the internet :).
