How to enable 2FA on your client account

In this article, we’ll explain how to enable two-factor authentication for your Skystra Client Area.

First, log in to your NOVA Client Area, click on the “Hello, your name” link at the top-right corner of the page, and select the Security Settings option.

On the Two-Factor Authentication page, click on the Click here to Enable button to start the process.

Once the new pop-up window opens, click the Get Started button.

Now, on your iPhone or Android device, download the Duo Mobile application, which we’ll use for our time-based tokens.

Open the app, and click the plus sign at the top-right corner:

Scan the QR code from inside the NOVA Client Area:

Rename the new account inside the Duo Mobile application, select the icon, and tap the checkmark icon at the top-right corner of the app.

Inside your NOVA Client Area, you’ll see a notification that the two-factor authentication was successfully enabled along with a a backup code.

Please make sure to save the backup code in a secure location in case you ever lose your device or can’t complete the two-factor authentication.

That way, you will still be able to access your NOVA Client Area with the backup code.

Saving the backup code is super important – if you lose it, you’ll be locked out of your client account if you can’t use Two-Factor.

After Two Factor is enabled, you will be prompted to enter a unique 6-digit code from the Duo Mobile application on the Two Factor Authentication step when signing into NOVA.
