How to set up email on your phone

Once your hosting service is activated, and you’ve created your first email address, it’s time to set it up on your mobile phone so that you can use it on the go. This article will explain how to set it up on multiple mobile platforms.

iPhone Mail app

1) Access the Settings button on the home screen.

2) Tap the Mail button.

3) Tap the Accounts button and then Add Account option.

4) In the list of email providers, select the Other option.

5) Tap Add Mail Account button.

6) On the next screen, input the following details:

Name: Enter the desired sender name.

Email: Enter the full email address.

Password: Enter the email account password.

Description: Just a brief description so you can identify the account.

7) Tap Next to proceed further.

8) Select the IMAP option and input following information for the Incoming Mail Server section:

Host Name: Use mail.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your domain name).

User Name: Your full email address.

Password: Your email address password.

For the Outgoing Mail Server section, input following information:

Host Name: Use mail.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your domain name).

User Name: Your full email address.

Password: Your email address password.

9) Tap Next to continue and then tap the Save button to save changes.

10) Once you’re redirected to the Accounts screen, go to your newly created email account and then touch your email address for further configuration.

11) Scroll down and tap Advanced option.

12) Make sure to input the following options:

Use SSL: set to On

Server Port: 993

13) Go back to the previous screen by tapping the Account button in the top left corner.

14) Scroll down to the Outgoing Mail Server section and tap the mail server name. Tap the hostname again, which is listed under the Primary Server section.

15) Input the following details:

Use SSL: set to On

Server Port: 465

16) Tap the Done button to save the configuration.

You’re done!

Android GMail app

1) Find your GMail application and open it.

2) Access the hamburger menu in the top left corner of the screen and click on the Settings option.

3) Tap Add Account button.

4) In the list of available email providers, select the Other option.

5) Input your full email address and tap the Next button.

6) Tap Personal (IMAP) option.

7) Input your email address password and tap the Next button.

8) Input your email account password and mail.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your domain name) under Server setting.

9) Input your email account password and mail.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your domain name) under SMTP Server setting.

10) Configure the desired account options on the next screen.

11) You’re all set!

Android Outlook app

1) Open the Outlook app and click the Get Started button.

2) Input your full email address and tap the Continue button.

3) Next, tap the question mark icon in the top right corner, tap Change account provider option, and select IMAP under Advanced section:

4) Input your email address password, Display Name, and Description.

5) Tap the Advanced Settings button to enable it and input the following details:

IMAP Incoming Mail Server: Use mail.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your domain name).

IMAP Username: Your full email address.

IMAP Password: Your email address password.

SMTP Outgoing Mail Server: Use mail.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your domain name).

SMTP Username: Your full email address.

SMTP Password: Your email address password.

6) Tap the checkmark icon in the top right corner to proceed further.

7) On the next screen, tap the Skip button.

8) The setup has finished and you should be able to see your email account configured now:
